| 内容記述 | 大学教育が十全に実践されるためには，その初動時における体制の確立が重要である。坂田・ 佐久田・奥田・)1/上 (2007) は，大学新入生に対して行われるオリエンテーション (FOP) において， 学生が獲得したと感じるさまざまなことが，大学生活における満足度にどのように影響しているかを 検討し， FOP における獲得感が，大学生活満足度を高めていること，またその獲得感には，教員との 親密化や帰属感高揚が強くかかわっていることを示唆している。しかしながら坂田他 (2007) の研究 は，単一の学科の単一の FOP のみをその分析対象としており，その結論の普遍性には疑問も残る。そ こで本研究では，複数の学科における FOP を調査・分析の対象とし，FOP が大学生活に与える，よ り普遍的な影響を明らかにすることを目的とした。3 学部 8 学科の FOP を対象とした調査の結果，入 学当初のフィット感や交友満足は， FOP そのものへの積極的な参加を促し，特に帰属感高揚や居心地 の良さを通じて，以後の大学生活充実感へとつながっていることが示された。以上のことから，効果 的な FOP を考える上では，大学および所属学科への帰属感を高め，同時に参加して楽しいと思えるよ うなプログラムにも重点を置くべきであると言える。 | |||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to investigate relationships between the gain they re cognize to have got in their fresher orientation program (FOP) experience and their satisfaction with the university. Sakata， Okuda，Kawakami & Sakuta (2007) showed causal relationships between the FOP experience and university satisfaction. As the pre vious study (Sakata，et.αl.，2007) analyzed the data of only single case of FOP in a parti cular department，it is not certain that the conclusion of the study has universal validity. Therefore in this study， we investigated the relationship between the gain in FOP and university life satisfaction in several departments. Participants，588 university freshers of 8 departments over 3 faculties，were asked to rate items concerning university satisfac tion at two points in time:l) before FOP at the beginning of the semester and 2) about two months after the FOP. They were also asked to rate items on the gain in FOP soon after their FOP experience. A multiple linear regression analysis was applied to investi gate causal relationships among the components. The result of the analysis indicated that sense of fit and satisfaction with social relationships facilitates the positive commit ment to the FOP and that leads to university satisfaction mediating sense of belonging and comfortableness. In conclusion，when planning and conducting an effective FOP，we should consider ways to raise students' sense of belonging to the department and univer sity and to make the FOP enjoyable for students. |
