| 内容記述 | 本稿の目的は、エミール・デュルケームの社会学を、方法論を中心に再検討することである。 『社会分業論』『社会学的方法の基準』において呈示された方法論は、素朴な実証主義に基づいたものであり、『自殺論』やそれに続く『宗教生活の原初形態』において大きく改変されていった。その課程で、方法論としての象徴主義は理論へと変化していったのである。 『宗教生活の原初形態』で展開された方法論は、象徴論と儀礼論とを包含するものであった。本稿では、この方法論を、信念体系にかかわる象徴論と、行為にかかわる儀礼論とを接合したものととらえ、 『社会分業論』から『宗教生活の原初形態』にいたるデュルケームの理論体系の一貫性・整合性を強調した。 この作業によって、これまで懸案とされてきた集合的沸騰論をよりクリアなものにすることができ、これまで汲み尽くされてはいなかったデュルケーム理論の含意をより明確にすることができたのである。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | In this paper, we attempt to reinterpret Emile Durkheim's sociological method. First, we canvass Durkheim's methodology in De la division du travail sociale and Les regles de la methode sociologique. In these texts, Durkheim employs a primitive symbolism for concocting his sociological method. Secondly, Durkheim's symbolism as a sociological method is incongruous with his sociological theory in those texts. His symbolism is based on 'sociologistic positivism' and so he refines it in Le suicide and Les formes elementaires de la vie religieuse. As a consequence, his symbolism has turned from method to theory. Thirdly, the new method consists of symbolism and ritualism. Therefore, we interpret that this method combines 'morphologie sociale' with 'effervescence collective'. This method gives us a new interpretation of Durkheim's sociology and a perspective of a new social theory. | |||||||
