M nursery school utilizes Montessori method to children in sensory training of everyday life and in providing music experience. The author analyzed results of third phase of MEB program from viewpoint of the recognition of musical elements regarding M nursery schoolers and other nursery schoolers who were under different childcare forms and not applied Montessori method. The results showed specific similarity and dissimilarity in recognition of musical elements among different childcare forms. Especially, regarding two groups of 5 years old children in the M nursery school who took two music tests with one year interval, comparing one group to whom MEB program applied between two tests with another group to whom no MEB program applied, the group with MEB program showed statistically significant development of test scores in comparison to the group without MEB program.
