 note = {P(論文), 我が国の臨床心理学界の第一人者で，長く斯界(しかい)の先頭に立って導いて来られた河合 隼雄先生が亡くなった。先生は 20 世紀最後の「老賢者」の一人と言ってもよい。筆者は，先生に特に 近い存在ではなかったが，それでも 40 年に及ぶ浅からぬ交流があった。その出会し、から，折々のエピ ソードを追想することにより，河合先生を偲ぶよすがとしたく思う。筆者の個人的な臨床心理学研鐙 の経験の織りなす，河合先生の周囲の人との交流の中に，河合先生を慕う女性と男性のさまざまな人 間模様が興味深く観察された。そこで，河合先生もよく触れておられたユング心理学の「元型」の中 でも，現代における「老賢者」の失墜(しつつしリ，そして，否定的な意味での「太母」の篭絡(ろう らく)について，見解を述べたく思う。時代は「老賢者」の英知から「太母」の呪縛へと移り行く現 代である。, 1 would like to give a memorial address  for  Dr. Hayao  Kawai's  Soul. For 1 studied  the analytical psychology  under  Dr. Kawai. 1 think，he  was one of the  last  “old  wise men" in the  20th century in  Japan. Jung's  analytical psychology puts  emphasis on so-called various  archetypes. Here， remembering the  circle  of  Dr. Kawai's  acquaintance，on  this essay  1 discussed  either  recognizing the  existence  of the  “old wise man"  or  not  in  our time.  On the  contrary the  negative  side of the  “great mother" makes  her  influence  felt in  the  world.  It  is a pity  that there  are  many  women  who  live by her  beliefs，therefore there  are  many  wicked，greedy，and  invasive  women. It  is to  be desired  that many  “old wise men and  women"  come to life again.},
