They seem to prefer to look at facial expressions that are accompanied by matching vo cal emotional expressions (Walker-Andrew, Montague, & Kahana-Kalman, 2000). Infants as young as 3.5 months are also sensitive to the moving figure of walking point light display Biological Motions (Bertenthal, Proffitt,& Cutting,1984). Whether or not infants' sensitivity to such human moving figures extends to emotional aspects of human behaviours was investigated. This study reports the preliminarily results on early understanding of human emotional behaviours inferred from Biological Motions presented on the screen monitor. Infants aged be tween 4 to 20 months were tested using a multimodal preferential looking paradigm in which two different Biological Motions,which depicted “happy\" and “sad\" were presented simultane ously with vocal expressions of either “happy\" or “sad\". Data collected so far suggest that in fants seem to look longer at the Biological Motion that was congruent with the “happy\" vocal ex pression. However,when infants heard the “sad\" vocal expression,they preferred to look at the in congruent Biological Motion. The results were discussed with reference to the salience of Human Motion that might have triggered infants' sensitivity beyond their inferential understanding of human emotion from such Motion.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_1_source_id_13":{"attribute_name":"雑誌書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA11637107","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_1_text_9":{"attribute_name":"著者所属(日)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"大阪樟蔭女子大学人間科学部"}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2017-02-27"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"200908ツジ.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"183.5 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_11","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"200908ツジ","url":"https://osaka-shoin.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/4145/files/200908ツジ.pdf"},"version_id":"76a93821-7d56-4272-87de-2142f40b5cbe"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"intentionality,multimodal matching, biological motions","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Infant Sensitivity to Emotional Behaviour Derived from Human Biological Motions","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Infant Sensitivity to Emotional Behaviour Derived from Human Biological Motions","subitem_title_language":"ja"}]},"item_type_id":"1","owner":"3","path":["229"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2017-02-27"},"publish_date":"2017-02-27","publish_status":"0","recid":"4145","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Infant Sensitivity to Emotional Behaviour Derived from Human Biological Motions"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-04-11T06:49:53.551550+00:00"}
