The  program contents intended  to teach  “the  respect  of self-determination of\nservice users\"  drawing on the case of the elderly  man.  In order  to assess  the effect of the program， before  and  the  after   the  course  of the  study， the  students were asked  about what  is  “the  respect  of self-determination of  service  users\"  and  what  kind  of support　social workers  can provide for it. Qualitative contents of the students' responses  were categorized   using  the  KJ  method  their   results were  interpreted.
