This area especially Czech, within German sphere of cultural influences, was entitled to one of the pioneers among the modern movements. A lot of housing exhibitions: educational activity toward modern dwelling for citizens, were frequently held in this small area. 2 of them are studied in this report; one is the 1929 WUWA EXHITION in Wroclaw and the other the BABA EXHITION in Prague. Here also came out an innovative   minded corporate founder who brought an advanced life/work model town Zlin. The Nazis and following political structure, however, had made these contributions toward modernism black out. Behind the Iron Curtain there caused abandonment, devastation and oblivion on modernism heritages. Only after 1990’s study and inspection on private basis became available. As time passes since then some villas are open to public some are for commercial use.
