 note = {P(論文), 佐久田・奥田・川上・坂田(2003)は、大学生が新入生を対象としたオリエンテーションに何を期待し、またそれに参加してどのようなことを獲得したと考えているかについて調査を行った。しかしそのような期待や獲得感は,どのような形態のオリエンテーションを経験したかによって異なってくるであろう。そこで本研究では、異なった形態で行われたオリエンテーションに対し、学生がどのようなことを期待し獲得したと考えるかについて調べることを目的とし、調査を行った。本研究と、比較対象とされた佐久田ら(2003)の研究におけるオリエンテーションとの大きな形態上の相違点は、(1)学外で行われること(2)一泊二日で行われる(それに伴い内容も豊かになること)こと(3)"大学生活"に関する情報の提示があること、である。調査の結果、これらの相違がオリエンテーションに対する態度に与える影響として、(2)一泊二日で行われること(内容が豊かになること)と(3)"大学生活"情報の提示が、オリエンテーションは大学への帰属感を高める行事であり、大学4年間を過ごす上での大切な情報を獲得できる機会であるという認識を確かなものにする効果を持つことなどが示された。, Sakuta, Okuda, Kawakami, & Sakata (2003) investigated the students' expectation to the fresher orientation event (FOE) and the gain they recognize to have got in their FOE experience. However, students' expectation and gain might differ depending on the style of the FOE. The purpose of this study was to examine the students' expectation and gain toward the FOE in another style. The major differences in style of the FOE that participants of this study experienced from that of Sakuta et al.(2003) are (1) It was held outside the university, (2) It was an overnight event (and its contents got varied accordingly), and (3) There was a lecture on university life. In this study, the impact of these differences on the attitude towards the fresher orientation event was investigated. The results showed that difference (2) and difference (3) have the impact to confirm that FOE should be the event in which they can contribute to establish the involvement to the university and can get great information about university life.},
